Kala is a woman that is one of the wisest elders in the clan. She helps Tao with advice when he needs it, and she treats Tao as one of her own. She might as well have been his mother. Kala is one of the few that know about Tao' s parents.Kala thinks that she should hide the truth about his dad from Tao because she thinks it's best for him,though Kala might be hurting Tao by not letting him know about his father.She has wrinkled skin, her hair is gray,and she has wornout clothes.Kala is a very generous,wise,respectful,joyful and giving person.Some of her resposibilities are skinning fur,cooking,and making a fire.
